Baby R's baby shower was just adorable! I didn't even mind that it took us a b-zillion hours to drive across NJ to get there! Getting lost in Newark NJ was a different story. Mom-to-be was simply glowing in her pink and green Lilly Pulitzer dress.

Here's me and Mrs. R!

Mr and Mrs R are waiting to find out the sex of Baby R upon delivery. More power to them because I would NEVER be able to wait that long! Plus I would have to come up with TWO name choices. As someone who doesn't make decisions too easily, this would be a nightmare for me! If it is a girl, they are considering the name Charlotte, hence my book choice for the shower.

This may sound odd, but ever since I was little girl I have been utterly obsessed with baby names. I even bought a baby name book with my own babysitting money when I was in the seventh grade. I loved finding new and unique names and looking up their meanings. In fact, when it came time to select a confirmation name, I spent months choosing the perfect name. What a fabulous religious Sacrament, I thought! My top choices have definitely changed over the years, but my love for the name game remains constant! If I reveal my top choices, will you promise not to steal them? Okay, here they are in no particular order.
1. Elaina
This is my top pick of the moment. I coached a little girl named Elaina who introduced herself by singing " I like big butts and I cannot lie" complete with a corresponding dance. Priceless.
2. Elle
Simple. To the point. Classic. Love it!
(So, what's with all of the "E" names? My mother's name begins with E and she has promised the diamond E pendant to my first born. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff)
3. Jayden
One of my more trendy, edgy picks. I actually like it for a boy also. Down fall? No family jewels with this "J" name pick!
4. Chase
My one and only boy name pick. I am hoping I won't have to come up with many more. Twin girls would be ideal!
Ugg, you know how much I love names too. I have names I like, but John dosen't like trendy stuff!
