(No Subject)

Hello Friends! Did you miss me? I have had a busy week! I thought I would pause my day and give you all a quick hello while I am waiting for the UPS man to grace me with my husband's new computer that he "accidentally" purchased. Cue our first MAJOR fight. Things have cooled down since then, thank goodness, and I am now anxiously awaiting its arrival so I can get out of here and go shoe shopping!

Yesterday, I found this dress for my sister-in-law's bridal shower:



I am now on the hunt for a great pair of shoes to compliment this awesome tank dress.

This morning I was locked in a classroom with 25 eighth graders for TWO excruciating hours during an unannounced "lock down." After an intense night of Gray's Anatomy, you can imagine my anxiety when we were told to remain in our classrooms, lock the doors, and hide in a corner until further notice. Lucky for me, it was not a disgruntled lunatic with a gun running around my school, but rather your run-of-the-mill drug bust. Yup, just a typical Friday morning with police ripping through lockers and dogs barking down the hallways. Good times.

Tomorrow, I have a baby shower. It will be a nice break from the 7 BRIDAL showers I have attended in the past 6 months. (Don't worry, no bean spillage. It's not a surprise shower) It's hard to believe it's been three years since her wedding. God, time is FLYING!



For this particular shower, we were asked to buy a book to add to Baby R's library. I, for one, L-O-V-E this idea! I really enjoyed picking out one of my personal favorite childrens' books and writing a special note inside the cover. Definitely stealing this idea! While browsing though Barnes and Nobles I happened to find out they have a writing club that meets monthly. Check it out!
