Okay, I'm sorry. I know I vowed to save some money in anticipation of my new job! I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to catch up with some friends this weekend-- especially after a very LONG week of packing up my classroom, saying my goodbyes and dodging questions about my departure.
After a LONG bus ride with no air condition, a screaming baby, (who eventually threw up)and some guys in the back who I'm pretty sure were recording their first album behind me, I couldn't wait to get to dinner! Don't worry, my best friend suggested this awesome Sushi place on 6th street called Cherin. 3 roles for 10 dollars! It was DP's first sushi experience. His verdict? Delish! The only downfall? You can't bang your Sake shot on the table before tossing it into your beer. Oh well! A little class never hurt anyone.
This morning we went to brunch and took a walk down by the water before heading home. It was a beautiful day and I am feeling very grateful for good friends and summer right around the corner. Here are some images from our WITS!
