Well hello! I won't lie to you. I have been having some trouble lately finding the inspiration to write. Okay, so maybe that nightmare of a school was good for something. It did motivate me to blog regularly. Although I am beyond happy at my new job, the ridiculous tales of demon-children and crazy administrators are a little bit harder to come by.
My new students are chatty but overall great kids--eager to learn and succeed. I feel like I am making a difference everyday and aside from the crummy paycheck, I am finally feeling like a teacher! I get to wear jeans on Fridays and can get a full load of laundry done and even get a workout in before I drive three whole minutes to work! Nikki is a happy pup now that she doesn't have to be left alone for 10+ hours and mom is breathing a sigh of relief as she doesn't have to worry about my students making threats on my life. It's a win-win for all!
I have been super-busy getting ready to host my very first Easter dinner and finishing up the office. Stay tuned for pics!
