Couldn't. Care. Less.

Last night I met up with some friends for dinner and drinks. I chose a low key bar/restaurant where we could knock back a few without the usual Jersey abundance of strobe lights and/or blowouts.

I quickly realized that our otherwise classy scene was going to be anything but the refined night I was hoping for. We were in the midst of the Stanely Cup Finals--People screaming at the top of their lungs, slapping 5 with strangers, buying rounds for the whole bar, falling out of their bar seats and annoying me to no end.

Now, as the BFF put it last night: Free Drinks are something we can "get behind," but the rest of this crazy sports nonsense is just ridiculous. It got me thinking about some other things I really could not care less about.

A Few Things I Could Not Care Less About (in no particular order)

* Sports
Excitement Level = 0. I love me some competition, but it shouldn't last more than a 2 and 1/2 minute cheerleading routine. Four quarters? NINE innings? Know when to quit, people.

* Bridesmaids in Different Shoes
Hold the bobbsey twins please. I like a little variety in my wedding party.

* Sand in my sandwich at the beach
It's sand, not dirt. Get over it.

* Excuses
Just do it.

* The Dog Sleeping in my Bed
I may clean three times a week but I don't mind my dog's yellow pollen paws on my clean white sheets for some reason.

* Wasting food
If it were up to me, I'd never bring home any leftovers. That just it. They are LEFT OVER.

* Checking E-mail and/or facebook from my cell phone
I can wait until I get home.

*Pictures of your baby's fetus in the womb
I will love your itty-bitty bundle of joy to pieces after it's born but please don't subject me pictures of your uterus.
